stop telling me what to feel!
I don’t understand why it is that some women in the Army seem to think that I have no right to be upset that my husband (who is in the Air Force) is being deployed simply for the fact that he is going to be gone for less time then they are deployed for. And why they act like where he is going and what he does is nothing at all. Yes, I understand he is going to a place that is not dangerous this time but just because some people don’t have to do much when they go there doesn’t mean my husband will have a vacation. His field is a very busy field and he has talked to many people who have been there doing that job and he will be busy none stop. Just because you had a measly 8 months that you did what he has been doing for 3 years and studying for 8 doesn’t mean you know anything! Its a fact that the Air Force goes more in depth with what they do in mental health, the Army doesn’t do much. My husband has been studying this for longer then you’ve even been in the military I guarantee he knows more then you could even imagine. Don’t you dare talk about my husband or me when you have no idea what your talking about and don’t know anything about us or the situation. Just because some people have no emotions about these kind of hard situations doesn’t mean I have to be a emotionless zombie. I have every right to feel how ever I feel and I can express what I feel whenever I feel I need to. I should not get ridiculed for being upset and sad because my husband will be away from me for 6 months. I am so sick of getting treated like this is nothing and I have no right or reason to be upset. DON’T TELL ME HOW I CAN FEEL!!! I have every right to any and all emotions that I have, I am not a soldier, I am not in the Army and I have EVERY RIGHT to be upset that my husband is leaving!!!
